The dream

The cars are roaring towards the city, everyone is in a hurry.
Deep inside they all know it’s too late. It’s almost 8 o’clock, there is always a traffic jam in Budakeszi. Although I use the turn signal on time, the car behind me almost runs into my car. Luckily he can stop, our dog, Baba is travelling in the trunk. I leave the road and park the car next to the forest. The dog jumps out from the trunk, my watch beeps and I’ve already left all noises behind. I’m entering a completely different world, there is no pushing and elbowing here. I’m going up with a comfortable pace, sometimes walking, sometimes jogging. I still feel some pain in my back, probably sawing and path cleaning in the Vértes fort 6 hours wasn’t a good idea. I can hear a jay laughing. I guess it finds my pace funny, but I don’t care. When I reach the top, I see that the soldiers’ graves have new headstones. I always stop here for a moment to think about those who died on this silent spot. Flowers are everywhere, I stop again to take a photo of them. I turn left when reaching the stone which marks the top, and run towards Nagyszikla. I don’t know why the triangle mark doesn’t lead here, as you can see one of the best views of the Buda hills from here. When going back to the wide road I see a deer jumping. Baba looks at me begging, but I only need to say: No! I turn to the yellow + mark, but I don’t really like this part of the way. It’s full of rocks, I have to pay a lot of attention in order to not fall. One more turn to the right, and I start going downhill. It’s only descending from now on, so I can release the brakes. Baba is also changing the gears, I can see the happiness in her eyes. The dog jumps back into the trunk, my watch beeps again, the dream is over and I’m back in reality.
